García's masterful display in Austin, where he takes the lead in the Moto2 World Championship

MOTO2

The GP of the Americas has been impeccable for Sergio García, together with MTHelmets-MSi: victory at the Austin track and lead in the Moto2 World Championship, with 51 points. The rider from Burriana started third on the grid and took the lead at the first corner and stayed there until the last corner of this GP, which has always been his Achilles heel. For his part, Ai Ogura made a great comeback race, from P17 to seventh place and was able to stay there to finish a weekend of learning.
Sergio García:
"I really don't know what to say. At the beginning it was a good race, but at the end I had some complications, but I was able to hold on; it was incredible. It's about time I got rid of the thorn in my side with this circuit. I want to thank the team for their work, and they are trusting me. I think we have great potential".
Ai Ogura:
"I had a good start, after the first lap I was in a good position. After that I couldn't do more, because I expected myself to have a great weekend. I am a bit disappointed with myself, but I feel positive. Thanks to the team for the work and in Jerez it will be even better".

MOTO3

In Moto3, Ryusei Yamanaka has made a more than positive evolution, starting from P23 on the American track, and crossing the finish line in fourth. The Japanese rider has shown that he is very strong and will continue to be so for the rest of the season. Iván Ortolá didn't have the weekend he was hoping for because historically he was the "king of Texas", but this time he couldn't finish the GP. Now it's time to change his sights and continue on the right track as he has been doing so far.
Iván Ortolá:
"Well, what can I say! It's been a complicated weekend, bad luck, to forget. Now we have to think about Jerez. Now we have to keep our spirits up, because we are strong enough to fight".
Ryusei Yamanaka:
"I started last and finished in fourth position. I am very happy to have been fighting for the podium and that is a great satisfaction. Thanks to everyone for a great weekend's work".
