Role:

The successful candidate will work with field and inside sales colleagues to identify and capitalise on opportunities to increase sales to the company’s most successful physical and online trade customers.

They will build strong relationships with those customers through regular telephone and email contact to facilitate wider distribution of the company’s product offering and develop successful sales promotions.

They will also support the Inside Sales Manager with daily operations and initiatives aimed at maximising sales and developing new business.

Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the ideal candidate will:

  • Demonstrate confident and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage professionally with customers of all types and at all levels

  • Understand the sales process and have a proven track record of sales success.

  • Maintain strong relationships with our trade customer base and proactively seek opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Exhibit a strong, resilient character with the capacity to develop good negotiating skills.

In addition, they will be:

  • Computer literate and competent in core Microsoft programmes, with the ability to analyse sales and stock data.

  • A proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

  •  Highly organised and comfortable working independently, and able to operate autonomously, prioritising their workload.

  • Able to identify opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell products and services to existing customers. 

  • Display a flexible work ethic and a willingness to adapt to the needs of the business.
