Oxford Products joins David Cameron’s trade mission to South East Asia.

Award-winning motorcycle & bicycle clothing and accessory giant Oxford Products has joined David Cameron’s trade mission to South East Asia in order to build stronger ties in what should become a huge market for the company.

Managing Director Andrew Hammond is among business leaders from 31 firms represented on the trip, which is being led by Prime Minister David Cameron.

Arriving in Jakarta, Indonesia, the PM delivered a powerful speech on British business, during which he said he had “brought the very best of British businesses with him".

Mr Cameron has said business deals worth around £750 million are likely to be made during the four-day itinerary - taking in Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and Singapore - with business leaders aiming to forge links with a rapidly growing area.

Oxford Products, a multiple winner of the Oxfordshire Business Awards, has been expanding rapidly over recent years both at home and abroad. Its market-leading products are now distributed in over 70 countries worldwide and via a subsidiary in Jacksonville, Florida serving the Americas.

Employing around 100 staff, the company celebrated the opening of a new 100,000 sq ft headquarters in Witney last year, with the Prime Minister cutting the ribbon at a Grand Opening Ceremony attended customers and suppliers from all around the world.

During this South East Asia trip, the company is delighted to announce plans for further expansion of its UK base and hopes to announce an exclusive distribution deal for its products in Japan.
